So my folks rigged the Internet so it shuts off on my computer at 9:30PM on weeknights and 11:00PM on weekends. This has been driving me crazy. It is not a program on my computer that shuts off the Internet. My father worked it out so that the network does it somehow. I am not too firmilliar with many topics regarding the Internet. I know that there is a modem upstairs and somehow that it is connected to the computer I am using right now, which is downstairs. There is also a router down here.

I have tried many things to attempt to restore the Internet to my computer including unplugging/replugging both the modem and router after the Internet is shut off. In my infinate logic, I also tried setting back the clocks on both of the computers. No luck. I believe it ultimately comes down to needing to know the password to access the router online where I can change the time it shuts off my Internet. What else can I do? Bonus points if the method is discrete...

Sorry, but we don't help you bypass parental restrictions. I'm sure there's a perfectly good reason they want to limit the Internet usage, perhaps so you can do your homework and get some sleep?
