Are you using the power supply or the battery. Does it do this on battery, on power supply or both?

Hello!
I have an IBM Thinkpad t21 laptop, it was work good, but now it doesn´t start. When I push the estart button, all lights turn on and the fan starts, the HDD makes something but after, nothing occours, nothing in the screen.
It may be the cmos?
Can you help me?
