Hello,

I've recently purchased a Radeon X1650 (APG) video card, and was hoping that I would be able to use its s-video capabilities. However, I seem to be running into some problems. Here's some basic info to start with:

>The s-video port on the back of my TV has 4 pin slots.
>The s-video cable I'm using has 4 pins on each side.
>The s-video port on the video card has 7 pin slots.
>I know that the s-video cable definitely works, as I can currently use it perfectly with the TV and my laptop (which also has a 7 pin slot port).
>I know that the TV at least somewhat detects the computer, as the TV flickers slightly whenever the computer is powered on.

Here's what the video card's Display options look like:

I'm a bit lost in attempting to make this work, but it seems like I've tried everything. Whenever I click on the gray image of the second display screen (the box with a 2 in it) in order to enable it, it at first turns blue like the box beside it, but then 5 seconds later switches back to the disabled gray.

I have also tried enabling the second display through the Settings menu in the Windows Display section, but had no luck there.

Any help in this would be great appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply, but I'm afraid right clicking the TV icon doesn't bring up any options or do anything.

I can right click the gray box with a '2' in it and I get an Enable option. When I click enable the gray box with a '2' in it turns blue (meaning enabled I guess) for around 5 seconds, then for some reason reverts back to gray.
