Packard bell no longer deals here in the US (and for good reason, they were the worst brand on the market!) If you check out my primer you'll be able to see what you have in your PC and that'll help you make an informed decision.

Since you mention that your PC is from 2003 it probably has an 8X AGP slot. While it's a bit older there are still new cards being sold that work with that connector.
