Hi,

I'm not sure if it's related to your BSOD's, but that PSU is not enough to properly power your hardware, and you've had it for one year already. One HD 5850 will consume up to 300 W, add a second one and now we have 600w. Plus other hardware that requires power, and that leaves us with a PSU that is running at its peak loads most of the time and it's now starting to give up. That would explain why your system is crashing during gaming.

I would strongly suggest you replace that PSU before you do damage to your hardware.

I would want no less than 1000W for a CrossFire setup. Look for Corsair-SeaSonic or XFX PSU's for quality and reliability.

Ok jcriff i will do all you said right now, and ill post results. the audio and those things were disabled because i was running the computer with HALF safe boot ill do all the tests again and send you the info after i didi waht you said ok? =D

Markgg88 i will check in a local store pfor psus is 1200 Watts a good one? a thermaltake 1200 W?

do you guys think that the hang is caused by the psu, not talking about the driver verifier , but the other 3 crashed i had? the WHEA uncorrectable error?

can it be caused by processor or vcard? ive tested them and theyre ok so i dont know :(

THANKS A LOT FOR YOUR HELP! =D

When you run 2 high end video cards in crossfire with just 700w you'll get problems, especially since as I mentioned, both cards will consume up to 600w under load, leaving the PSU no room to operate efficiently as it needs to power other things as well.

If the Thermaltake you mentioned is the "tough power" model, then it should be ok.
If not, the i'd suggest looking at the brands that I posted above, they're better quality than thermaltake PSU's in general.

EDIT: Try removing one of the cards and running with only one, see how that works out.

EDIT 2: Also check your temps: HW monitor

Overheating could cause those crashes as well.

the max temp at full laod for the procesor is around 70 C same for the videocards, one of my videocards gets energy form one rail the otherone from the other rail, ive got also 4 extrra cooler running two hard drives and the core i7 920, both videocards are overlcocked at 760 because theyre toxic and black edition, i eman its their normal clock i ahvent overclocked them, they came liker that, i ahve only 700 W psu shpould i rweally change it? :)

The cards are overclocked as well? That's even more load on that PSU. You really need to replace it, 700w just doesn't cut it for a crossfire setup.

I would get this:Newegg.com - CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-950TX 950W ATX12V v2.3/EPS12V v2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Doesn't have to be 1000w, 950 should be fine.

Btw, CPU at 70c is a bit on the hot side. Get a can of compressed air and blow that dust out.

Try running with just one card, see what happens.

You can test the video card with FurMark

Prime 95 for the CPU.

ok mark! THanks a lot ill do as you say and post my results, but anyways if i get the problem fixed ill still change the psu to be safer ... right? i mean is it dangerous tu run with a low Wattage PSU?
A low wattage PSU can go as far as damaging other hardware, since it can't produce the required power it's going to end up failing and possibly killing other components along with it. And it needs to be a high quality unit. The corsair that I linked to is one of the best around.
