Hi everyone,

Although this is my first time posting I have read a lot already on this site but still want to check with the pros before I buy a video card and power supply. This is what I have:

HP Pavilion a6530f with an
AMD Phenom 8430 Triple-core 2.1 ghz
with a NVidia G-Force 6150se nForce 430.

I want to spend around 150 to 200, and am thinking about the NVidia XLR8 GFS 250. I don't know how much power I'll need or know what type of PCI-express slot I have. Thanks for your help.

These would work

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...7341017&cm_re=ocz_600w-_-17-341-017-_-Product

You'll also want to add these to the side panel , the Pavilion a6530f doesn't have very good ventilation.

I wouldn't really bother buying these older high end nvidia cards When nvidia is going to releasing their 300 series in december/early next year. The money's better spent on dx11 sm5 cards.
