Try it... I too had a problem with a sound on Asrock p4v88+ in the environment of Windows7. I have picked up the driver not for the name of a motherboard, but under the chip name (the original the driver do not work in the environment of Windows7). It is called VIA VT8237R driver for audio (Vinyl Audio driver). I it download and a problem have dared on 100 % (use the driver for VISTA). I hope it to you will help....
