I just received my order of Kingston HyperX DDR2 PC5300 4GB Notebook Performance RAM from Newegg.com. I install them and the first boot...NOTHING, 2nd boot it works but then when I get to the Windows Vista boot-up screen, I get the bottom half in mixed pixalated colors. I then proceed to sign-in and at middle right corner I get a square section of the same pixalated colors. I boot in, bars of colors and black pop up then go away then computer freezes and BSOD pops up, but never gives me enough time to read it, all I know is Hardware at top with bunch of lines of text after it then it automatically restarts. I checked my BIOS and I'm running latest version of what HP offered, F.34 as of September 2008. F.32 fixed the 4GB issue. My BIOS shows 4096MB and VRAM increased from 256MB to 384MB. I did a Memory Test through BIOS and it passed. I don't know what to do, and why it is acting this way. My previous RAM was 2x 512MB in 4 4 4 12 latency via CPU-Z, so I got this Kingston HyperX memory of 4 4 4 12 latency, but the previous RAM also said 3 3 3 9, 4 4 4 12, and 5 5 5 15 via CPU-Z, I don't know about this one because I can't do anything fast enough before Vista freezes.
