Recently I installed a new GFX card:

ATI RADEON HD 4670 512MB

I can play all file formats fine, except for when I play RMVB file..
I think that it can play fine as long as I don't move the loading bar to the middle or so.

Once I move the bar to the middle of the screen i get a BSOD error saying something about the file

atievxx.dll or something along those lines..

I have tried uninstalling and updating my drivers to the latest

Plz Help :(

Thx in Advance

I think VLC will generate the same results as it'll play from the codecs provided from the other packs.

Uhh about the info on Ativvaxx.dll, when i write EXPAND ATIVVAXX.DL_ ATIVVAXX.DLL, it says:

Can't open input file: ativvaxx.dl_.

Hentrinity, I just linked that as info, I didn't write it. It could be the driver is ok and the player is at fault. I don't know.

There will be a copy of that dll in each sp folder (just do a search).

I think you could boot to Safe Mode, delete the copy in C:\Windows\System32\ and then extract a fresh driver from a SP folder to C:\Windows\System32\ folder (to extract right click).

If this has been an ongoing problem since the SP3 download, use the SP2 file.
