Open the case and look at the label on the PSU for the Brand Name and Model Number.

If this is an OEM PC then just post the make/model (Dell,HP,Gateway, etc)

Check Device Manager and make sure all drivers installed without problems (chipset, graphics, etc)

What graphics were you using before?

yes you are correct and btw you mean power supply not battery. You should be running a quality power supply unit such as the corsair 550vx.

We suggest a good quality 550W minimum for any PCI-E GPU.

1 more question i recently put a new processor it was 1.60GHZ
put a pentium(R) Dual core cpu e5800 @ 3.20GHZ
when i open the system window the rating stays the same and it says
that i have 3.20GHZ 1.60GHz what does that mean?

Posibly the new CPU is not compatible with the Mobo. OEM PC's use Mobo/Bios made for them and they will not accept all the same CPU's as the retail version.
Brand & Model of the 550W PSU you bought?
