I'm pretty old and have loved computers for as long as I can remember. My expertise is in hardware and data recovery, but I'm not quite as up to date in the latter as I used to be a few years back. I am a member of a hardware focussed forum but have not posted there regularly for a while. I have a few health issues that slow me down a fair bit, and these days I spend more time on a coffee forum where I help out with the running, as I'm not as sharp as I used to be and the pace suits.
I found this forum whilst seeking information about Google hijacking (see my other post). The amount of malicious code around nowadays really saddens me. I hope to be able to share in the task of helping people out on the forum, but I fear my knowledge base is rather dated in the field of virus removal.
