The headset suddenly started making crackling noises during applications such as \/ideo games and itunes. the sound gets progressi\/ly worse until i restart the application.

The headset: GameCom 777

The keyboard doesnt let me press the letter \/ hence the forward/backward slashes i use in its place.

Keyboard: Microsoft Comfort Cur\/e 2000

Test both on another PC. If the same issue occurs on another PC, they are faulty and need to be replaced.
