I have a hdmi-dvi-d cable i bought on monoprice.com (great site good prices btw) i connected it from my 60 gb ps3 to my HDCP compatible Dell 1908FPt 19" monitor which has display options as such:
1024x768 800x600 1280x600 1280x768
1280x1024 1280x768
Once everything was connected properly I switch my monitor to digital input. Pressing and holding the power button on my ps3 for 5 seconds then waited. The screen turned blue then that was all. From then on it would remain a dark blue screen until I shut off the PS3. Im guessing there is some sort of video output from the ps3 but it seems to not fully handshake. Please share your experiences and ideas,
