I have an Apollo KT-133A motherboard and a brand new ATA100 WD HDD, 8 MB cache, 80 GB, 7200 RPM.
I have never installed a HDD before, but am reasonably apt... what I need to know is this:
I want to install the new HDD as the master and the old one as the slave(Or some such, I already have a CDRW and DVDROM as well). I don't care about any data on either; in fact formatting both completely is my chief AIM.
I have a bootable CDROM drive and bootable CD for installing my OS, will I need anything else?
PS. Let me know if you need any other info to answer, I can find it out pretty quick-like.

Most harddrives have jumper settings to set the HD as master or slave. So you'll wanna check that out. That information is normally on the HD itself.
