hi I just bought a Seagate Barracuda (ST3500630AS) 7200.10 SATA NCQ 3.0Gb/s 500GB 16MB and when I go to partition it so I can install Windows XP Professional Edition on it it only reads that I have a max. capacity of 131GB. When I took the HD and plug it into my other computer that is running the same OS with SP2 it reads that the HD is 500GB. My question is, is there a way to make windows see the HD as 500GB when you do a fresh installion on a new computer? I want to be able split the HD in half so I can have C and D drive both at 250GB. If anybody know how please help me >.....<
