i am looking to upgrade my GPU on my dell 8250
so that i can play WOW smoother, right now its running
a 64 mb card , the 2 i am looking at are xfx 6600gt 128 mb
or the 6800gt 128 mb

now i know that the 6800 is the better card but i dont see how
and what the differences are if anything it looks like
the 6600gt has a fast clock @ 500 mhz
as opossed to the 6800 running at 350

also i have already upgraded my psu to a 500w
coolermaster

also forgot to mention that its going to be running on an apg x4
rather than x8

the card they put in this thing is a x2 lol

someone correct me if im wrong but i believe the 6800GT has more pipeline, 16 versus the 6600GT, 12.
6800gt has 16 yes, and your wrong on the 6600gt, it has only 8 pipelines

if you only play wow and nothing graphic intense, just get the 6600GT, like the 6600gt is a great card and will play all the games out right now but you wont need the extra power of the 6800gt if your just gonna play wow and similar games.
