Ok, I leave my computer on 24/7 and always has worked fine. I have a 975xbx2kr with a q6600, 4 gigs of ocz pc6400 ram, and a 8800gtx graphics card. I can home tonite after work and turned my monitor but did not get and display. I moved the mouse and still did not see a picture. I rest my comp and when it trys to boot my first dvd drive light starts flashing and so do my hdd lights but i cannot get any picture on the monitor and it will not boot. I am not sure if i had a hardware failure or some sort of virus. Usually with a problem like this it is cause from overclocking but at this point i had the settings at stock. I tried doing a bois reset with no luck. It keeps doing the same thing. Not sure what to check from here. Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks for the reply. I didnt really think it would be the psu but i will try a different one here soon. I did not mention that all my fans and the fan on the gfx card is running. The monitor never comes out of standby. I was thinking overnight that somehow my mobo got fried. I will keep you informed as i will be working on this all day today so i can hopefully play some games soon.

I changed the psu with no luck. having same problem. My next best guess and all it is is a guess that my mobo or cpu took a dump. Any ideas?
