hi guy.
Been having a few probs with some malware. think i am on top of it, I had a program called mowuk.exe and it was making services.exe and muwuk use all my processor power. dont know what it was doing but i think it was messing with my stuff:upset:
i tried to google it but it turned up with no results. and i could not end it with tskmgr. spybot found some spyware and removed it, but its still in my system. what i did was open up regedit and searched for mowuk and deleted every one i found. and i deleted mailblocker, which is saw somewhere while scanning deleted that, restarted my computer and its gone now.
BUT:sigh: I still have some issues. like i cannot update spybot SaD. keef getting: Access violation at address 01B826C5. Read of address 01B826C5
What does that mean? also firefox keeps craching and whenever i searched 'why cant i update spybot S+D'? and click on one of the results and get redirected here: http://www.stopzilla.com/products/stopzilla/landing.do?type=download_nonav&aid=10192&cid=search+and+destroy
AAAAAAAAH:upset:

Hello and Welcome.

We want all our members to perform the steps outlined in the link I'll give you below, before posting for assistance. There's a sticky at the top of this forum, and a
Having problems with spyware and pop-ups? First Steps
link at the top of each page.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please follow our pre-posting process outlined here:

http://www.techsupportforum.com/f50...-posting-for-malware-removal-help-305963.html

After running through all the steps, you shall have a proper set of logs. Please post them in a new topic, as this one shall be closed. I currently have as many open topics as I can effectively handle; this will have you back in queue with the proper logs so an available helper would be able to assist.

If you have trouble with one of the steps, simply move on to the next one, and make note of it in your reply.

Please note that the Virus/Trojan/Spyware Help forum is extremely busy, and it may take a while to receive a reply.
