Hauppauge help

I just bought a Happauge 1212 HD PVR a week ago, and for some reason, whenever I plug all five HD chords into my tv, the tv just says something about the source not having a signal. Also, when I tried to plug the usb from the happauge in, eye TV on my computer doesn't detect the capture card. What should I do?

I just got a hd pvr too :]
The hd pvr must be turned on if it is to stream back to your tv, as your pc in not recognizing it i would try reinstalling the drivers you got with it. I think i have a different model as i use an arcsoft program to record instad of eye tv but installing the drivers should be pretty easy anyway.

How did you manage to order anything from Hauppauge? Their sales dept is defective and will not allow me to order the part I am seeking.

Perhaps Hauppauge products are not so good afterall.
