I ran a CHKDSK. I was gonna try and fix the master boot list. I also think I might have a faulty power supply, because Ive had a few motherboards die on me in the past 12 months, About 3.
Specs:
Mobo: Gigabyte 7NF-RZ
RAM: KINGSTON 1GB 2700 333 MHZ/Not dual Channel Comptabile
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon 9800 128 MB
Sound Card: Realteck Audio AC'97
Processor: AMD ATHLON 2100+
HD: Old compaq 40GB(cant give a better description)
PSU: 400 W PSU - Not sure if its working fine.
Media Drive: Exact Preripheral Otpics CD-Rewrtie 52x/32x/52x
All comptabile, all this stuff worked fine for a while with the exception of motherboards dying on me from Memmory Dumps. This one Ive had for about 3 months and no problems with the motherboard. Im not sure as to whether to reformat and hope i never get another BSOD, but i dont get me now that the comp just restarts after bootscreen or what. Or to has its a faulty PSU causing errors, or its bad HDD, or its both. Any ideas.
What do you guys think?
