I was working on an hp laptop, and when the computer boots it will prompt you to either launch the repair manager or run windows normally, if you run windows normally the loading screen comes on but computer screen just stays black. But if I try to run the repair manager it says that the repair manager won't execute because the device is not access-able. The customer informed me that the laptop had been knocked off the bed and hit the ground. It also will give me a blue screen saying the boot manager was unable to execute because its and unmountable drive. So would this be a damaged HDD problem or corrupt software?

Sounds like a damaged hard drive. Is it visible in Bios?

It won't let u access any of the CMOS functions. It won't let u get into setup or the boot manager.

Definbitely sounds like a physically dmaged HD. Remove the HD and see if you can get into CMOS setup
