Hi, I need some help please. I have a Sata drive that is connected to my Windows 10 computer using a Nexstar TX. The drive became unreadable and now is telling me to format it. In disk management the drive comes up as raw. From the research I have done chkdsk N: /f /r or variations of that should have corrected the issue, but it has not. The error message I get in cmd prompt which I run as an administrator is below:
The type of the file system is NTFS.
The first NTFS boot sector is unreadable or corrupt.
Reading second NTFS boot sector instead.
Unable to determine volume version and state. CHKDSK aborted.
Any help to get this this drive functional (from RAW back to NTSF) so I can get my files off of it would be greatly appreciated. I have attached a couple of screenshots. Thank you.
All the best,
Eric
