hey guys, just wondering if this transfer will work. I need to troubleshoot an issue on my desktop (thread here: http://www.techsupportforum.com/forums/f16/detection-problem-689949.html#post4065479 )
so i want to take the hard drive out of this laptop: Specs - Notebooks NP300E5C | Samsung Laptops

and hook it up to the SATA cable in this desktop

Yes you can. You can also hook it up using a USB Adapter or put it in a USB Enclosure If you don't want to open the case of the desktop.
