Hi guys,

My grandfather has a 40gb hard drive on his pc but when you highlight it, it says that it has 1.99gb capacity! :4-dontkno

When I use the 'system information' tab and go to components/storage/disks on my computer it says partitions 1, size 57.27gb, partition size 57.26gb but when I do the same on his computer it says partitions 1, size 37.65gb, partition size 2.00gb !

I formatted his computer and installed ME on it and it was fine up until a week ago when this happened ?! :/

When I try to install anything over the 2gb capacity now it just says 'no free space'!

Anyone any idea how I can get rid of this and get the capacity to show the correct 40gb?

thx.

when you formatted it sounds like when it asked if you wanted to enable large drives you chose no and it formated it fat16 instead of fat 32
you will have to reformat
