ok so i have two drives Acer C and AcerData D. Acer C is the drive ive been using but its full now AcerData still has quite a bit on space but im not sure windows is installed on it or how to use it can anyone help?
Likely you have one hard drive that has two partitions. Check in your device manager (hold down the Windows key between Ctl and Alt in the lower left of your keyboard while pressing the Pause/Break key in the upper right. This will bring up the System Properties window. Choose the Hardware tab, then click on Device Manager). What does it read under Disk Drivers? If you do have just one hard drive as I suspect, just copy data from C over to D, or when you want to save data, music, etc., just save it to a folder on D instead of C. You could also use partitioning software to resize the partitions, or get rid of D entirely, if you so desire.
