Hard drive problem?

I am running a SCSI hard drive on my computer. It has been working ok for quite a while. Now there seems to be a problem, the computer rebooted itself, and will not go into windows. The thing is if I unplug the power from the SCSI drive it will go into windows. If I leave it plugged in it goes to the windows logo and stays there. If I run windows in safe mode it will boot ok. Could this be a hard drive problem, or maybe a power supply problem(450 watt)? :4-dontkno

hard drive problem.

when your in safe mode can you access the scsi drive with explorer?

Run chkdsk on the drive for errors.

Also check the manufacturers website for utility programs to test the drive.
