Hard drive not recognised
Hi,
A friend recently trashed her computer and gave me her parts. I tried to install her hard drive in my computer as a spare, but my computer won't recognise it's existence. I've been in the bios and tried to get it recognised, to no avail. Just keeps saying no primary slave.
It is a Quantun Fireball LCT, 20GB. It worked fine on my friend's computer.
The jumper is set to slave, and all the connections look good.
Any ideas? Thanks.
