I made the mistake of taking my other laptop to CompUSA for my laptop monitor.
When I hooked up a separate monitor to the laptop, now nothing reads.

I can boot into DOS, but other than that, nothing.

I have checked hardrive in another computer and it works.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

P.S. The manufacturer of my computer will not honor warranty, due to me taking to a different service person.

It is a AMS Roadster 21 series, 20gig HD, 1.13ghz
Windows 98 OS, cd/dvd
I took it to have the Monitor repaired, now it doesn't do anything.

I think that perhaps the motherboard is shot, I ran fdisk, and the C: (harddrive) does not even come up.
