Hi,

I tried to reformat my computers with my Windows XP disc, but when I do this my computer reads that the Hard Drive Disc cannot be found. Do you know why this could be and how to get around this? I can actually get on my computer fine, i just want to give it a good clean out and get everything off of it.

Any Ideas? Please don't use too much techy language, i don't know all that much.

Hey,

Are you able to go into BIOS for me and check to see if your hard drive is showing up as the primary device? Do that for me and tell me the results, cheers.

Is this a self built computer or a store bought? If it is the latter, what is the make and model?

Hi,

I think it is the primary device, im not at home atm, but im pretty certain it is. Also, i did not buy this from the store, i brought this off someone who makes them to your spec.

Also need to know if the HDD is a IDE or SATA.

Hi Jo, when you get home can you do what i stated above and let me know what happens. On top of this, try pressing "ESC" for the multi-boot option, does it list your hard drive there?
