Hard Drive-MusicMatch

There seems to be no direct way to get music from my external drive into MusicMatch. The only direct option puts the music into the Microsoft Media Player. I can get the music to play via My Documents then into My Music which can then be played in MusicMatch. Is there an easier solution?
