I have a refurbished IBM ThinkCentre M50 that I purchased. The computer was used very little and is in excellent condition. The problem is, the hard drive cables were attached correctly, but the drive is just sitting in the driver bay and moves easily as it is not mounted. I looked at the manual to determine how to mount it but still couldn't figure it out. Needless to say, I'm very frustrated as the manual is a bit confusing. :4-dontkno

look at page 13 which you access by clicking on installing internal drives on the left column of the pdf

I looked page 13 and I'm still lost. I also looked at the HDD and driver cage again and can't see a way to mount it. Sorry for the trouble.

Ah, yes that is why I was confused!

There should be a blue (I believe) plastic caddy that attaches to the drive, then the drive slides into and snaps into place.

No problem! The only blue caddy in the case is located where the video/network cards would be installed.

Issue Resolved. The blue caddy that holds the HDD was missing. Thanks for the help!
