i recently got my computer fixed and the guy that fixed it, started it on a new partition but on the new partition, all of my downloads go to my backup(D:) and it only has 18gbs of space with 3 free. and i want my downloads to go to my local(C:). is there a way i can make it so my new partition is on local istead of my backup. im running windows xp media center.

What happens if you cut and paste that folder to your C drive? After doing that if you get an error message are you also asked where you would like to save downloaded files to? You could also try placing a shortcut file on your D drive that might redirect download files to the new C location. Let us know what happens...
