I recently upgraded the BIOS on my latitude CP to a16 (latest revision). This worked fine, and afterwards I formatted the hard drive to get rid of all the junk. I then used the boot disk connected to the floppy drive on the parallel port to boot. It gives the option of installing an OS but when I t ry this it says it needs to have the win95 cd installed. It cannot find the CD in the drive, but when I tried it from the DOS prompt I can find the CD just fine( so the drivers must be good). So I tried running the win95 setup.exe program. It says that it can't make a temporary folder. When the computer boots, it names the CD drive "c:" and the floppy "a:" but it doesn't give the hard drive a label. I tried the setup option from the startup screen and it shows that my hard drive is present, but I can't get the OS installed or access the hard drive. Also, when I took the hard drive out and slid it back in (I figured maybe it was loose) The disk says that the hard drive is not partitioned. So I let the partitioning program run, but it freezes and says "no space available to partition".
Any help would be appreciated.
