hard disk not recognising

I am using windows xp sp-2 os if i am adding one more harddisk it is not recognising

kindly send remedy

If this is a new HD that you added as a slave, you may need to format it before windows will recognize it.
Right click My Computer>Manage>Disk Management
Do you see the extra drive? It may show as unallocated space.
