Hi, I am running win 7 32bit on an intel duo-core motherboard. I bought abrand new western digital 1 TB Sata Hard drive in November last year. Did a clean install of the os followed by a clean install of Kapersky Internet Security 2012. The WD hard drive was also reformatted and partitioned into two drives. I use a 250 GB Seagate Sata HD as ny boot drive. All of a sudden windows is reporting eminent hard drive failure. I have run various disk management utilities including chkdsk and can find nothing wrong with the drive. I am currently running HDD Regenerator which aims at rebuilding every sector, but as you can imagine on a 1TB drive, I will retire on pension befoer it completes, is there a cure dor this as I am convinced that it is not the drive.
