Hanging Xp

k here it is straight nd simple... the past few months my comps been acting up ie. it gets to the load screen and hangs there for over an hour if i let it...

ive managed to get it to start up but in an interesting way...

because i manually shutdown (hold the button in) it brings up the windows didnt start up proply what would you like to do screen, i picked safe mode with network but when it says "press esc to cancle loading d347bus.sys" i do i press esc and it loads up into safe mode.

so i ran a chkdsk nd nuthing seems wrong... the only thing that makes sense to me is that my "d347bus.sys" is corrupt or something so i would appreciate any help on this... i know its not my hard drives cause in safe mode its all still here i just dnt have sound... so please help...
