I just installed a new video card (Radeon 8500LE 128 MB DDR) and I tried to lanch Grand Theft Auto 3 and got THIS ...

I checked device manager and its detecting 128 MB of memory on the card but when I check in Direct X it says the video memory amount is not available.

Support on the games website has some FAQs and one was about this problem. They suggested shutting down all other processes running in task manager? Im no tech support person, but that dosent have any thing to do with video memory does it?

Im emailing tech support now, but it will probably be a couple days till I hear back so I though I would take a shot here. Anyone know anything I could do to make the game run

Thanks for any help

Youre gaming with 2Kpro? Cool, it can be done then. I have a Geforce2 GTS on my 2k box using detonator xp drivers and was not impressed at the only game I tried to play. Got any secrets?

How is the graphics on GTA 3 ...I am a fan of the GTA serise but I have some friends who have "aquired" it and bought it, running decent machines(PIII 128MB+ and 32MB or better video card) and they advise the gameplay is choppy to the point of annoying....???
