I have bought and installed 4 gigs of ddr 400 memory. My board is reading it at 4089 gigs. But winxp home is reading at 2 gigs total only. Whats the problem bad memory sticks or ?

check your motherboard specs >>>>> I will bet your board is limited to seeing 512mb per slot ?????


this information is found the quickest at the website of crucial and corsair in their memory configurators ?????


they will tell you what you can use ??????
