I am not sure if this thread goes here but if it doesn't feel free to move it.

My company got hit with a friendgreeting card so called virus. But I don't consider this a virus. I consider this a program. Where the end user has to be dumb enough to install it.

It asks you that if you answer yes to install then it will send out an email to all of your contacts in your contact list seeing if they want to install this program.

For you to get this so called virus you have to actually install this program from an install wizard. (How dumb could users get!!!!:angry2: :angry2: )

I am just letting off furstration here but I want your opinions on how come no one reads what they are about to do before they do it.:upset: :upset:

well, believe it or not : those kinda users=techie job security LOL ..
but seriously...I dont know if even allmighty can beat some common sense in those people...I understand...there is people that do that by mistake, once or twice and then realize they're getting skrewed...but some folks just keep on clickin' and then complain all over the place that something is wrong, tech support is not doing their job, blah blah....I think Doonz had a thread regarding greeting card annoyance in security forum.

dunno... :|

This reminds me of the CDW commercial ...

"I fixed my laptop, but it still doesn't work ..."

"I'm off to crash the server! Wish me luck!"

"I droped my hard drive ..."
