Hi - I need someone's help quickly.

I've been "asked" to throw together a graph for circulation to senior management, but I'm really stuck.

I need to show four sets of events on one graph, by date, spread over a year.
But they shouldn't intersect.

The X Axis should basically show 4 different data sets ("Rollouts" at the top, "Outages" below that, "Queries" below that and "Tickets" at the bottom of the X axis.

Each series would be in a straight line from right to left, as a series of dots or dashes. One dot for each "event" on what ever date it occured, spaced out according to 1st-Jan ->30th Nov on the Y axis.

So some thing like:

|....... .... . ... ........ .

Jan__Mar__Apr__Jun__Aug__Oct__Nov

Where the top set of dots is Rollouts etc. etc.

Does anyone know:

a) What the **** I'm rambling on about
b) How to do this?

I have my four sets of "data" in an excel sheet with the dates of each event. I just need a way to get them in a graph, and I don't need to "count" the events, I just need to show a dot when each one occured. Tools at my disposal are:

MS Excel and my fingers.

A little URGENT help?
