i am trying to instal linux(fedora) on my system, everything seems to be goin fine till the very end and the installation shows to be successful but during login, the graphics gets garbled up(vertical lines of different colors) which changes as i move the mouse.this appears to happen before the login screen .

however the first installation of red hat on my system was successful, but then i had to format the hard disk for some reason.(i did this installation with a different monitor ,if that might be important).
plz help !

Sounds like it's stuck in the wrong video mode. Then again it might be Fedora.

I don't know how to fix it once the installation is complete. Since I'm guessing the system is still fresh just hook up the monitor you want to use and re-install.
