Recently my ATI graphics card stopped showing 3D games, when I try to load one of my games I get the error: "Failed to find a suitable display device. Exiting program". Everything on my computer is working fine, apart from the clunky scrolling on the web and no access to 3D games :'(
But heres the thing... It's working every other day, since Friday it has been on and off; today, of course is one of the off days. I opened up my computer to see the little fan going as normal, but there is no little red graphics card icon by my clock.
On the days that it's on, everything functions normally, apart from the few seconds I get of a black screen when alt-tabbing out of a 3D game.
Is my graphics card dieing, and just hasn't completely crapped out yet? Or is this some kind of virus (I did a virus scan and nothing came up)? Could it be dust build up? The first day this happened I opened my case and blew away most dust (not that there was a lot).
Please help me
