Graphic card not recognised

1756 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  prii
hello, i have a problem with my new graphic card.

First of all i already tested the graphic card on another computer, also i even tested my PCI slot with a different type of graphic card that does not need external power (
and it works)
however, when i attached my new graphic card, Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5850 Extreme 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express for some reason the pc does not recognise it and the pc switch on from the onboard graphic card. İ also tried to disable the graphic card from the bios but all in vain

Computer specifications:
Windows 7
Motherboard – Wolfdale 1333 – D667

Thanks and any help is appreciated :)

Good day.
