Hai EveryBody,

I am a new enterant in this forum. I want to ask a question regarding windows xp proffessional operating system. How i, as an administrator, grant specific privileges to guest users ? such as updating mcafee antivirus, adding printer etc. I don't want to change the user type to power users or any user type with more capacity. I just want to grant privilege for specific operation.

Help Me.

Bye.

Well, group policies it probably the way to do it, but learning about XP security is way beyond a couple of forum messages!

You can deny rights for a specific user. I'd use deny carefully however, because you can end up denying the rights for all users, including Admin! :D
