This is the situation, I have a brand new pentium 4, I installed some games, includeing NFS high stakes, Grand theft auto 3 and some others. When I play NFS it either freezes up or restarts my computer!!! Whenever I play GTA3 it freezez and the picture quality it crap too. I dont know if its supposed to be like this but the pictures are drawn out, hard to explain but for ex. when a person moves a stream of the person moves behind them. :upset: its makeing me mad. Any ideas??? Oh yeah I also downloaded the patch for GTA3 but didnt help!

Have you tried changing the video mode to OpenGL instead of running in software or Direct3d?

That helps out with a lot of games.
