I was playing video games and the pc just shut itself down, after a few seconds it tried to boot itself up again and back of the gpu started sparking with intense burning smell and I immediately took the power cord out of the socket. I have not powered it up again as I don't want to damage the other components. What I want to ask is that what could be the problem and what is the safest way to proceed, gpu is probably dead so I don't want to damage the other components. I've got following specs.
Msi gaming x gtx 970 (temps were 68c)
Asus H370 mobo
Intel 9400f (60c)
FSP HYDRO GE 650w 80+ gold psu
Trident z 2x8gb sticks
