Alright so here is the problem, I played Gothic 3 before on highest graphics no problem no lag whats so ever with usually over 60fps at any given time.

Today i install gothic 3 since my internet was down on my PC (vista ultimate 64bit)

And have massive FPS issues meaning like 1 to 5 fps this doesnt matter if its at lowest graphic/res or highest graphic/res

My computer specs are as follows

Q6700 @ 2.67ghz
4gig of DD2 ram
EVGA 780i mobo
8800 GT
DX 10

If you need anything else let me know.

My sound works fine, no stuttering at all or lag/pauses.

And yes all my drivers and everything is up to date

Also i am using the 1.6 community patch

re installed game and applied patch again, still same problem but now i get graphical glitches in the game aswell. (I.E some parts of the grass are just a sheet of light green, while rest of the grass looks fine)

Try an older graphics card driver.

if you have Forceware 178.x try to use it

or try to use the last driver the game worked good on
