For some odd reason only in Firefox my font color changed in the search results. Instead of the blue (and purple) color it changed to a dark green color. Does anyone know how I can reverse this?

I tried to fix it through settings, but don't know what to do.

I've been searching around, but couldn't find anyone with the same problem.

If I right click and click on inspect, this appears: *|*:linkrgb(0, 0, 238) about: PreferenceStyleSheet:3;

*|*:linkrgb(0, 0, 238) is crossed, and there is a blue circle right next to it.

What can I do?

PS: results in Chrome appear correctly.

Thanks for the reply. But with Firefox you can choose between three options now (instead of only checking/unchecking). Those options are "Always / Only with High Contrast themes / Never". It is on "Only with High Contrast themes" now.

If I choose Never, nothing changes, if I choose Always. All the colors change.

The problem only seems to occur on Google. I tried Bing and Yahoo. They seem to work correctly.

search query (change font color browser results) returned the best results with a link at the top titled "How to Change Text Size or Colors."

scroll down the page to the "Other Text and Color Changes" section. I hope this is different from what you meant about not wanting "a global change". this will address the ability to change the font color in the Google results and the Google Web Search results. For Firefox, it's important to un-check "Allow pages to choose their own colours, instead of my selections above" in order for this to work.

There's also an add-on from the Firefox store called Theme Font & Size Changer this includes colour. If you go to the add-ons page and the appearance tab, you'll get a number of choices.
