Well I'm switching from DSL to Cable but my cable outlets are not in good locations. My attics are inaccesable so i'm going to head to the wireless world. What will I need to convert from a completely wired world?

I've been shopping on newegg.com and I'm assuming I'll need to buy a wireless router and something for each PC (3)? Or will the router come with everything I'll need for the PCs?

usually you need a cable modem and a router and wireless cards but you can get a cable gateway which is a modem built into a router i saw one that linksys makes i like linksys stuff if you have xp you could probably use usb wireless adapters but i wouldn't advise them for 9x you can get wireless pci adapters

Thanks. Can I buy a router, a pci adapter and use one computer to distribute a wired connection to the other two PCs? (tryin' to save some $$)
It would be a very ugly solution to save $30 or so. I'd also prepare yourself for MUCH slower transfer speeds for file sharing between systems on your LAN with wireless.
