Going back a couple of days

Not unless you have a program like "Go back" already installed in your system. System restore didn't make a debut in Windows until M.e.

Do you have MS backup on your computer? Check under your progams and see if you do...you may be able to get back some of your information, but if you have never backed up your computer with this software, then I believe it will restore it to its original condition (just out of the box), so be careful.
